The Butterfly Effect: John’s Story
Imagine a clinical hypnotist, let’s call him John, who works as a university lecturer. In 2011, after a routine medical examination, his doctor delivered shocking news: “You’re going to have a stroke in the next 12 months.” Two weeks later, another diagnosis followed: cancer. The prognosis was dire—worst case, 6 months; best case, 5 years.
Roll on five years, Monday, April 4th, 2016. John suffers a massive paralysing stroke. In the high dependency ward (bed No. 1, the most critical), unable to move or talk, wired up to monitors with tubes connected to every limb, John was at his lowest point. He had a conversation with himself: **”If this $#!t works (hypnosis), now is the time.”** The **Butterfly Effect** was developed, and John recovered.
Roll on New Year’s Eve 2024. John, putting all his work as a hypnotist to the test, has another STROKE, alone in a big old house. He called the ambulance service himself, describing his F.A.S.T. situation through a failing voice as he lay stuck on the floor. Once again, the medics kept John alive, but thanks to the **Butterfly Effect and hypnosis**, John is here today, ready to help **You**.
